Terms of Service
These Terms govern the use of Eat Schedule (the "app" or the "Service"), including AI-based meal recommendations, meal logging, nutrition analysis, friend features, and subscription-related features, and set out the rights and obligations between users and the operator.
1. Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions of use, rights and obligations, liability, and other matters necessary for using the Service.
2. Definitions
- "Service" means meal recommendations, menu choice, meal records, photo or text-based food analysis, nutrition estimates, statistics, achievements, favorites, friends, eat-together sessions, notifications, subscriptions, and other related features provided by the app.
- "User" means anyone who uses the Service under these Terms.
- "Member" means a user who signs in with an Apple, Google, Kakao, or other supported account.
- "Paid Service" means subscriptions, free trials, premium features, or other features provided based on payment or subscription status.
- "AI Output" means food names, nutrition estimates, recommended menus, recommendation reasons, menu-choice results, and similar output generated or assisted by Firebase AI Logic (Gemini) or the app's recommendation algorithms.
3. Effect and Changes
- These Terms become effective when posted in the app, on the website, or by other reasonable means.
- We may update these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- We will notify users of material changes through the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the change may be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.
4. Accounts
- Users may sign up or sign in with Apple, Google, or Kakao accounts.
- Members must not impersonate others or provide false information.
- Members may set nicknames and profile information, but must not use nicknames that infringe others' rights or cause harm or offense.
- Members are responsible for managing access to their accounts and devices.
5. Service
The app provides the following features:
- AI-based personalized meal recommendations and re-recommendations
- Choosing a menu from candidates entered by the user
- Food photo or text-based food-name analysis and nutrition estimation
- Meal records, photo attachments, nutrition statistics, and goal management
- Food preferences, favorites, and achievements
- Friends, friend requests, eat-together sessions, and invitation notifications
- Meal reminders, push notifications, and regional bonus recommendations
- Subscriptions, free trials, purchase restoration, promo codes, and other paid features
- Some features may be limited depending on network conditions, external services, device permissions, operating system policies, app version, or subscription status.
- We may temporarily suspend or change all or part of the Service for maintenance, failures, security, external service interruptions, policy changes, or other operational needs.
6. AI and Nutrition Information
- AI Output and nutrition information are provided for reference to help meal choices and are not medical, nutritional, or therapeutic advice.
- Food names, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, recommendation reasons, and similar information generated by AI are automated estimates and may differ depending on the actual food, cooking method, serving size, and health condition.
- Users with allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, medication use, dietary restrictions, or other health-related concerns should consult a qualified medical or nutrition professional.
- Users must not rely solely on AI Output for final meal decisions and are responsible for checking their own health condition and actual food information.
7. Usage Limits and Policies
- AI or algorithm-based features such as recommendations, re-recommendations, and menu choice may be subject to usage counts or conditions for service quality, operating cost, subscription status, slot policies, or abuse prevention.
- Feature scope, usage limits, and free trial availability for free and paid users may vary based on in-app notices, store listings, or RevenueCat configuration.
- We may change usage limits and feature availability for product improvement or operational needs.
8. Paid Services, Subscriptions, and Payments
- Paid Services may be provided through external payment and subscription platforms such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically under the policies of the store or payment platform. Users must manage or cancel subscriptions through the relevant platform account settings or the in-app customer center.
- If a free trial is offered, it may convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Free trial availability and conditions may vary by platform, country, and account status.
- Payments, billing, refunds, and purchase restoration are generally governed by the policies and procedures of the App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or the applicable platform.
- Promo codes may be subject to separate conditions such as eligibility, expiration, usage limits, and restrictions on duplicate use, and may be canceled if misuse is found.
- Deleting an app account or logging out does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Users must cancel subscriptions separately through the relevant payment platform.
9. User Obligations
Users must not:
- Misuse another person's account, personal information, nickname, or payment method
- Provide false information, use automated tools, send excessive requests, or interfere with Service operation
- Use the Service for unlawful, commercial, malicious, or abusive purposes
- Harm, offend, or infringe the rights of other users
- Attempt to bypass security or access controls for the app, servers, database, or external APIs
Users are responsible for ensuring that photos, text, feedback, nicknames, and other content they upload or enter do not infringe the rights of others.
10. Permissions and External Services
- The app may request device permissions such as camera, photos, notifications, and location to provide features.
- Location permission is used for Korean regional bonus recommendations, and the app does not store precise GPS coordinates on the server.
- Push notifications are provided through Firebase Cloud Messaging and the device notification system.
- Social sign-in, AI analysis, data storage, and subscription processing may depend on the availability and policies of external services such as Apple, Google, Kakao, Supabase, Google Firebase, and RevenueCat.
11. Privacy
- We process personal information according to our Privacy Policy.
- Details about collection, use, retention, deletion, and external processing of personal information are provided in the Privacy Policy.
12. Logout, Account Deletion, and Data
- Members may log out or request account deletion in the app.
- When an account is deleted, account-related data such as the app account, profile, meal records, photos, preferences, friend relationships, and recommendation logs will be deleted or anonymized according to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
- Feedback, payment and subscription records, promo code history, and similar information may be retained after removing user identifiers, or retained to the extent necessary for legal compliance, dispute handling, or external platform policies.
- Deleted data cannot be recovered after account deletion.
- Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions remaining in the App Store, Google Play, or RevenueCat.
13. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for Service interruptions caused by force majeure, network failures, external service failures, store policy changes, or reasons attributable to the user.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI Output, nutrition estimates, or recommended menus.
- Users are responsible for meal, health, payment, and social interaction decisions made with reference to AI Output.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to direct and ordinary damages.
14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
- Matters not specified in these Terms are governed by applicable law and general commercial practice.
- Disputes related to the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Effective Date
These Terms are effective as of June 8, 2026.
